Loeb Partners Parking Lot Entrance

Greenwood Village, Colorado

Project Description

Western Engineering Consultants (WEC) was retained to analyze and make recommendations to the Edward Building access drive in the Denver Tech Center. Based on an initial site visit it was clear the existing access road was not constructed to minimum drainage engineering standards. WEC then provided complete engineering services necessary to achieve City approvals and permits for the reconstruction of the access road. The project included providing proper site drainage to prevent further structural damage to the existing parking garage. WEC provided site layout, grading, drainage, and construction management for the project. The site was bound on one side by DTC Boulevard and included upgrading existing side walk handicap ramps, curbs, gutters and cross pans to meet all ADA and CDOT standards. WEC’s involvement was vital to meeting the owner’s expectations. Several construction issues/ problems were overcome with WEC’s field presence thus avoiding unnecessary delays and costs.
