Chapel Hill - Hwy 7 / Bridge St. Improvements

Brighton, Colorado

Project Description

Based on the conceptual design of "Colorado Style," these homes will outfitted with elements of carefully chosen stone, stucco, natural wood, and copper accenting as in Brighton, these design build Villas are traditionally beautiful, with a contemporary flair. WEC was hired for its expertise of completing development in the City of Brighton. WEC took this property through the Brighton Development Review process, platting and engineering applications for the project. WEC provided site designs including – local roadways, CDOT Highway 7 widening, grading, water, sanitary sewer storm sewer, and drainage pond infrastructure designs for the 32 residential, 3 commercial, and 1 multi family lot subdivision.

Roadway Improvements – the construction of this new Church on the eastern side of Brighton included not only a new local street, but the widening and appropriate improvements to the adjacent State Highway 7 also known as Bridge Street (Major Arterial) within the City of Brighton. Improvements included the addition of a deceleration lane, a ‘pork chop’ island at the local street intersection to Hwy 7, utilities, grading, drainage, asphalt design, and roadway section designs. Designs and construction met both City and CDOT requirements.
